Annual General Meeting and Awards Night
All members are warmly invited to our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Award s Evening at Mapperley Plains Social Club on Wenesday 25th March 2026 at 8pm. The evening will be a chance to celebrate another fantastic year of running together. We will: - Review the previous meeting minutes. - Address issues arising from last year's minutes. - Approve the minutes from the last AGM. This will be followed by reports from the committee. We will elect officers for the coming year. I


Redhill Club Grand Prix 2026
Here is the list of races which make up the Club’s 2026 Grand Prix. COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP RACES Friday 24 July - Newstead Abbey Dash (5km) Friday 7 August - Castle Rock 10km (entries not yet open - expected to open in April) Sunday 25 October - Worksop Half Marathon (HM) Sunday 15 November - Derby 10 mile CROSS COUNTRY (XC) Your best two finishes for XC count towards calculating your finishing position for GP points. Redhillers needed for Midlands 12 and 6 stage relays
The Midland Counties Athletics Association Relays at Sutton Park, Birmingham, are being held on Saturday 28th March 2026, and we are looking for Redhill members to be entered for our teams. This year, there will be no long legs, so everyone will run the same distance of 5.47km. There will be 12 legs for men and 6 legs for women. The races start at 12noon and it can be a long day, but it is fun and a nice way to spend time with your running buddies. We appreciate that many peo


Final Yoga Sessions of the Season
Final block of yoga sessions - bookings now open The final 6 yoga sessions of the season, delivered by Jess, are now available to book! 6:45-7:45pm every Thursday until the end of March, at Studio 3 in Mapperley. No equipment or prior experience needed. £6 per session, or, if you buy a block of 4 or more in one go, you get £1 off per class: Block of 4= £20 Block of 5= £25 Block of 6=£30 HOW TO BOOK. Notts AAA Road Race Summer League Dates
The dates and locations of the 40th Notts AAA Road Race Summer League races have been announced. The Notts AAA Road Race Summer League is a series of 5 races from April to August on mainly rural, undulating road and trail courses. They are closed races for members of Notts AAA-affiliated clubs only. Colwick Woods XC Cancelled
Unfortunately, tomorrow's East Mids XC at Colwick Woods (8th February) has had to be cancelled as the course is too wet, with too many fallen trees, making it unsafe to run. The next and final race of the series will now be next Sunday, 22nd February at West Park, Long Eaton, 11 am.


East Midlands XC Race 2 - Holme Pierrepont
Redhill returned to Holme Pierrepont on Sunday 1st February, for the second race of the East Midlands XC Series, a venue which has been off the calendar in recent years due to flooding. Ladies: 8 runners took part, with Vet Ladies A finishing 1st on the day, Vet Ladies B 4th, and Senior Women A 8th. East Midlands XC Race 1- Bramcote Park
The 2026 East Midlands XC League got underway at Bramcote Park, with Redhill Road Runners turning out in impressive numbers for the opening fixture of the series. This year’s course featured a slight change from previous editions, with an opening lap of the field designed to help spread the field before runners headed into the woods. Midland Counties Cross Country Championships
Four Redhill Road Runners were in action at the Derby Runner Midland Counties Cross Country Championships at Mallory Park in Leicestershire on 24 January, proudly representing the club in both the Senior Men’s and Senior Women’s races. The course offered everything a true cross-country enthusiast could want — twisty, undulating terrain that proved testing underfoot and demanded resilience from every runner.
