North Midlands Cross Country League Finale – Bulwell Hall Park
The North Midlands Cross Country League season came to a dramatic close on Saturday 10th January 2026 at Bulwell Hall Park, Nottingham, with runners facing snow- and ice-covered ground rather than the usual mud. Redhill Shine at Nottinghamshire Cross Country Championships
Redhill Road Runners made an excellent start to the 2026 season at the Nottinghamshire Cross Country Championships, held at Bulwell Hall Park on Saturday 3rd January. The challenging winter course and strong county-level fields provided a true test of strength and determination. The women’s teams produced an impressive set of results. Midland Counties Cross Country Championships 2026
Entries are now open for Midland Counties Cross Country Championships 2026. This race on Saturday 24th January 2026, at Mallory Park Racing Circuit, Leicestershire, also includes the Midland Masters Championships. Senior women run 8k, with a start at 1.40pm, and senior men run 12k with a start at 3.00pm. More details about the race can be found on the MCAA website. Entry is £15 per person. Please transfer £15 to the club account quoting “[surname] / Mid by 8th January.


Redhill at the Holme Pierrepont Christmas Relays
Redhill Road Runners enjoyed a strong and festive showing at the Holme Pierrepont Christmas Relays, held on Sunday 29 December, with five teams taking on the fast and competitive relay course. Adding to the fun, many Redhill runners fully embraced the Christmas spirit, taking advantage of the opportunity to race in fancy dress, with the course featuring a colourful mix of Santas, elves and angels alongside the serious racing. Redhill Grand Prix – Final Standings
The final positions for this year’s Redhill Grand Prix have now been confirmed. To earn a place in the overall standings, runners needed to be registered as representing Redhill and complete the following across the year: A Nottinghamshire County Championship event A Summer League race A North Mids or East Mids XC event And this year’s designated parkrun - any Colwick parkrun during August or September. Redhill Success at the Nottinghamshire Trail County Championship
Redhill Road Runners enjoyed an outstanding day of racing and medals at the Nottinghamshire Trail County Championships, held on Sunday 30 November 2025 and incorporated into the Edwinstowe Christmas 10k Trail Race. The championships took place in the stunning surroundings of Sherwood Forest National Nature Reserve Country Park, bringing together strong fields from across the county.
