I am very sorry to say but, following the Government announcement on Saturday, Wednesday night (4th) will be the last club night until further notice. But to help you all with your training and motivation over this period the club are put on a new challenge,


The aim is to run 3 parkrun courses in any order over a 5-week period. the winner will be the fastest accumulated time for each age group.

The three parkrun courses we have picked are: 1) Bestwood 2) Wollaton 3) Long Eaton You can find the course maps on there websites if you don’t know the courses. You can run them in any order but must do all three courses to qualify for a finishing position.

The Rules: 1) You have 5 weeks starting form Saturday 7th November 2020 to Sunday 13th December 2020 2) You must do all three courses to qualify (any order) 3) As per government guidelines you can run with one more person on this challenge 4) You can run each course as many times as you like but only one of your times for each course will count. 5) Results link (Strava, Garmin connect or any other link) will need to be sent to or by Messenger to Leigh Stubbs 6) Results will be done on eclipse time (There should be no need to stop your watch on any of the courses) – When send results please make sure we can see eclipse time and run time) 7) Prizes will be 1st,2nd,3rd Male and Female overall and 1st in each age group (35-44,45-54,55-64,65-75 and 75+) 8) Please remember that the parkrun course uses shared paths, please give way to other park users. This won't hurt your time,
